About DJ AniMe
Barbara since young was attracted by electronic music of different kinds like: progressive, techno, trance, hardcore, tecno and she also followeed the best european and italian parties.
At seventeen she decided to learn the art of djing and in 1998 she began playing as DJ Eklipze, forming "Radioactive" together with her friend Dj Metod.
They performed as resident DJs in a small club near Milan and after a couple of years finally got the chance to play at a summer date, at ECU club.
Here in 2000 they were noted by Luca Pretolesi aka Digital Boy who proposed them to join the D-Boy Black Label which was, with Traxtorm Records, one of the most important italian hardcore labels of that time.
With D-Boy Black Label Radioactive performed in many parties around Europe, exposing their industrial-darkcore style and productions.
Eklipze was the only woman DJ/Producer in the italian scene during those years.
The Radioactive releases on D-Boy Black Label are:

* Radioactive - To embed oneself (D-boy project vol. 8 part.1)
* Radioactive - Mental reservation
* Radioactive vs. Hypnotics - New world
In 2004 the Radioactive left D-Boy to join at "Choose or Lose records", the new great label managed by Placid K, and they released:
* Radioactive - Freedom of Choice (Choose or lose - Special edition)
* Radioactive - Disturbed.
In 2005 Radioactive splitted and DJ Eklipze started to play at rave parties around Italy.
In 2007 Barbara was contacted by The Stunned Guys to become a new member of Traxtorm Records, the most important hardcore label in Italy, as AniMe!
With her productions she become soon part of the most important names of the movement, starting to play at parties around all Europe: Spain, France, Holland, United Kingdom, Poland, Germany, Swiss, Belgium, Luxemburg and at the best Hardcore Parties of the world, like Thunderdome, Masters of Hardcore, Defqon1 and many more.
In 2010 AniMe introduces herself to the Hardcore worldwide public with her first release on Traxtorm Records:
*AniMe - Detonate
Innovation is the guideline of her project.
Sounds, vocals, mergers between grooves and elements of various music styles with strong influences from her past as industrial/darkcore producer.
Her style has already become inspiration for many important hardcore producers and her tracks are already included in the best hardcore compilations worldwide.
